If you take a look at the picture below, you will say... hey! we had this last time this is the so called "scaloppine"... but you are wrong! This looks alike and as simple as that was, but still differs!
Even the ingredients are almost the same but the key hides at the details:
- oliv oil
- onion (not necessary)
- beef, or pork
- species (sage, rosemary, salt, pepper)
-white wine (not necessary)
-garlic
The method is simple, first put the onion into the pot and fry it till it turnes into see trough. Put the spices on the meat, than place it into the oil and ad a half glass of vine or water into it. (NEVER put cold water into hot oil! EXCEPT if you like to make bonfire in your kitchen) If you use wine it is good to leave it uncovered till it evaporates, if you prefer water I personally like to cover my pot and wait till my meet gets soft.... than you can still uncover and fry it. As you wish! It is up to you!
This is a basic food and the number of variations is only up to you... you can ad into the frying pen mushroos, celery (what I love) tomato, more garlic...
Make it than change it, than change it again and post your favorite variation :)
